Ceramic Casserole Dish

I bought this great yellow casserole dish from the same people as yesterday’s roasting dish – clearly they were a fan of the colour yellow! There’s no maker’s mark that I can see, but the shape looks very similar to one produced by UK firm, Denby, as does the actual stoneware with its ’70’s style ‘speckle’ that fortunately is only visible o the inside of the dish – I’m not the biggest fan of this finish. But the fabulous yellow glaze on the outside of the dish more than makes up for that slight slip in taste, and on top of the that there’s the fact that the dish is in near perfect nick!
