As far as candlestick holders go, these 1960s stacking candle holders are about as cool as they come! They were designed by Caesar Stoffi and Fritz Nagel for Beyerische Metall Fabrik (BMF)/Nagel in a variety of different styles, but all with the ability to stack in different configurations. The result is mini sculptural works of art for your dining room table! And in addition to their clever engineering and good looks, they’re also great fun to play with! When we went to visit my brother in Berlin last Christmas we saw the most incredible displays using these modular candlestick holders, which made me want to start my own collection. As one seller commented, once you have one you have to have more – just imagine the amazing shapes you could create with a dozen or so of these amazing candle holders!
P.S. BMF/Nagel candlestick holders are seriously collectible! A set of four of these candle holders is currently for sale on 1stdibs for $450 (R6000)!
Dimensions: Each candlestick holder measures 7cm tall x 9cm wide
