They really did produce some amazing lights in the art deco period didn’t they? If you think of all the glorious glass shades, and the creative ways that they chose to display them – I don’t think any other design period can really touch sides when it comes to lighting! Like this pendant light with that beautiful marbled glass – I love the streaks of orange running through the cream. It’s not an orange that really shouts out at you (it’s more on the brown end of the spectrum than the yellow), but it’s definitely orange, which makes it quite unusual. The chrome on the rod is quite badly corroded, but I don’t think it really matters in this instance – it’s the glass that shines, and that’s what you notice!
Dimensions: 80cm long (from tip of glass to end of rod); Shade – 15cm in diameter x 15cm long
