There’s nothing fancy about these amber highball glasses, but I still really love them – so much so that I was eyeing out which glasses in our cupboard we could give up to justify holding onto them (it seems glasses may be a new fetish of mine!). I’m greedy though – I didn’t want to part with any of our existing glasses – and there’s no more room in our cupboards – so here they are for sale! I know that they’re vintage because they came with the most awful cane holders, which I promptly tossed, but that’s probably what protected the glass so well all these years. Although for being vintage the quality of the glass isn’t great – they’re pretty solid, and I would think handblown, but there are loads of bubbles in the glass, so whoever made these glasses did so in a bit of a rush! I suppose the cane would also have hidden the imperfections in the glass, so maybe it wasn’t that important to get them perfect? Regardless, imperfections and all, I think they’re quite lovely!
A practical and very handsome set of glasses that I know you’ll get plenty of use out of.
Dimensions: Each glass measures 16.5cm tall x 6cm in diameter
