It’s time to say goodbye to our rather lovely home in Jozi. When we first bought it, it was a mess of styles, with crazy paving (indoors!), mixed with ’90’s beige tiles, and original parquet flooring, but over the years we’ve lovingly renovated the house to bring some congruity to the space, which now flows really nicely. In addition to all of the aesthetic changes we made, we’ve built a really spacious workshop (that could possibly be converted into an income-producing flatlet), added a scullery to the kitchen, and a wood-burning stove to the lounge for those chilly Jozi nights – and there’s a kick-ass generator that powers the whole house, so no need to stress when the lights go out! The neighborhood’s also really safe, and being just twenty minutes from the airport, and twenty minutes to Rosebank, it’s conveniently situated.
We’ve been super happy in this house, and we’re sure that it’s new caretakers will be equally as happy – it really is a very wonderful home!
