I love the suprise these ramekins from Villeroy & Boch offer. At first glance they appear pretty standard, even a little boring, but then you take a closer look and you see these lovely little birds sitting on the base of the ramekins – a nice treat for your guests once they’ve gobbled up their crème brulee! I think this set of four ramekins comes from two different sets originally – three of them have the same image and a different V&B stamp. P.S. Dimensions: Each ramekin measures 8.5cm in diameter x 4cm high

I’m making my brother very sad by selling this Villeroy & Boch dish (Luxembourg). He has a serious fetish for anything with geese on it – go figure. Although in this instance I think his lust is justified! Save for a small amount of crazing on the inside of the pot, it’s in excellent condition, and while it’s shape may be a little dated the beautiful birds in flight make this one hip dish.
