I had this juicer with me at the I Heart Market on Saturday, and some lady came up to me to tell me that this is the best juicer you can buy. I haven’t tried it out myself, but I’m going to take her word for it! I’ve seen a few of these juicers recently, but this one was in the best nick by far. so I snatched it up. The plastic box that catches the skin of the fruit is a bit scratched, but other than that the juicer’s pretty clean. It is missing a tool that you use to remove the blade, but you can do this by hand or with the aid of a fork (not difficult I promise). The perfect kitchen accessory for  summer!

This handmixer from Moulinex is in very good nick! My very clever boyfriend opened her up to give her a clean and was super-impressed with how well made she is – to quote him, “it has a very elegant design”, and by this he means it’s cleverly designed to be as simple as possible so that the chances of anything going wrong are very slim indeed – I know this because I had to ask him how the inside of a machine could be elegant! The mixer has two sets of blades, a pair of metal round whisks and a set of plastic flat blades for light mixtures. According to its two page pamphlet the Moulinex handmixer is perfect for making souffles, meringues and chocolate mousse – maybe whoever buys it could drop off some tasty treats for me to sample!

This Moulinex yoghurt maker was a big hit in my house! We had to try it out to make sure it worked and we made the most delightful yoghurt with it – so delightful in fact that none of it survived long enough for me to take a pic of the finished product! Not only does it make delicious yoghurt that’s good for you and far cheaper than what you’d pay for it in the shop, it’s also a damn good looking kitchen appliance – I’ve had a look at the modern versions and this one definitely wins in the style stakes!
