The colour combination on this small casserole dish from Langley (England) is quite special! I’m not sure how well it shows up in the pics, but it’s a lovely soft blue contrasted with a gentle brown. It’s quite an unusual piece in that it really is quite petite – I don’t think I’ve seen a casserole dish this small before. This dish is in perfect condition, with the exception of a small chip on the one handle. I try to avoid buying damaged items, but this dish was so lovely that I really couldn’t pass it by, and the chip isn’t particularly offensive. The perfect serving dish for dinner for two (or three at a push)!

I think that this 1930s planter from Langley (England) has a really special quality to it – I can almost see it on the verandah of some old colonial hotel! The green glaze is quite lovely and is actually a little stronger than it appears in the photos, and I love the way it’s crazed over time. Considering its age it’s in excellent condition with the only real signs of time showing on its base. I think that it would look fantastic with a leafy fern or miniature delicious monster in it!
