Retro ashtray
I really like the shape of this ashtray – I don’t think I’ve actually come across an ashtray of this design before. It’s quite a chunk of glass and has a bit of Whitefriars feel to it. This style isn’t for everyone, but if you have the right home it can look super-cool!

Retro ceramic ashtray
After saying that I shouldn’t really buy ashtrays I went ahead and bought another one on the weekend (I told you I can’t help myself)! But I really do feel my purchase was justified – look at that great retro shape! The yellow is actually a bit softer than it appears in the pics, and there are a few very faint scratches that don’t show up in the photos, but all in all it’s in very good condition. Even if you’re not a smoker it makes sense to have at least one ashtray at home – it beats your guests putting their ciggies out in your pot plants!

Heart shaped bubble glass ashtray
You might have heard me say this before, but I really do try and stop myself from buying ashtrays (they’re not very PC these days), but there was no way I could turn down a heart shaped bubble glass ashtray! I’m not sure if it was intended to look like a heart, but that’s the best way I can describe the shape. Form aside, I love this Murano-style glass. I have about four pieces of bubble glass in my own collection – but sadly no pink heart-shaped versions! If you’re not a smoker, this glass looks beautiful as a display item, and can also be used to hold knick-knacks (earings, spare change etc.). There are a few scratches in the glass, but nothing too serious. A truly beautiful piece of glass – I hope it goes to a deserving home!

Enamel ashtray
I try to resist buying ashtrays because they’re not very PC these days and tend not to sell that well, but sometimes I just can’t help myself! I mean how can you not appreciate the beauty of this little enamel ashtray with its beautifully detailed orchid. Really!

Red glass ashtray
I know it’s kind of ’80s, but I really like the deep red of this glass ashtray. It will definitely stand out on your sideboard or drinks cabinet, plus it’s a nice large piece so perfect for those dinner parties that go on a bit longer than expected!
Note: for the most part the ashtray is in very good condition, but there are one or two scratches in the centre of the ashtray
