Ceramic vase

This vase has the most satisfying shape. The round ball that forms the body of the vase is very inviting – it may sound a bit odd, but I want to rub the vase every time I see it! Practically speaking I’m not sure how many flowers you could actually fit into that tiny opening – I’m guessing it’s a single stem vase, or more realistically was designed just for display. A striking piece that would look fantastic sitting on a sideboard or up on a display shelf.

Note: The vase is in fairly good condition, but there is a small amount on wear on the rim (see pics under ‘more’). Also, this looks to be a hand-thrown vase, so the finish at the base isn’t 100% perfect.
