Happy Birthday to Me!

Last Saturday marked the one year anniversary of the online version of Mint! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already! In the past year Mint has sold 420 items online, has been visited by nearly 22 000 people from over 100 spots around the world, and has amassed over 150 subscribers to our daily email. Not quite an internet sensation, but not bad for a newbie on the block! And to celebrate Mint’s first birthday I thought we should run a competition to say thank you to all of you who have been so incredibly supportive over the past year! I am truly astounded at how nice people are – I get daily emails from friends of Mint saying how much they like the site. It’s such a rewarding business to be involved in, thanks to all of you!

So to stand a chance to win a R500 voucher to Mint you need to do the following:

1. Get a friend/s to subscribe to the Mint email* (or subscribe yourself if you haven’t already)

2. For every friend that subscribes you’ll get one ticket into the draw

3. Send the names of the new subscribers to mint@minttheshop.com

* Click on the pink envelope on the right hand side of the Mint blog to subscribe. Feedburner will then send an email to the new subscriber asking them to confirm their subscription.

Competition closes on Monday 25th July 2011.
