Set of five coasters

I’m assuming these coasters are from the ’80s – I don’t think any other decade had quite the same love affair with the check print! Unfortunately one of the coasters has gone AWOL over the years, but once they’re out on a table/chairs I don’t think anyone will be counting. Their bright colours will look fabulous on a balmy summer’s day!

Note: There are a few marks on one or two of the coasters, but nothing that’s too noticeable

Set of 6 glass tea cups & saucers

How lovely are these blue tea cups? This is the third set of cups and saucers from Vereco (France) that I’ve featured on Mint – two sets in blue and one in green – I wonder what other colours they made them in? For the most part the set is in excellent condition, but there are one or two tiny chips in the glass – but you would only really notice the slight damage if you were giving them a good examination! A really lovely set that would look fantastic on display.

Set of 6 enamel plates

These white enamel bowls-cum-plates are identical to the duck-egg blue set I featured last week, but sadly these plates aren’t as in good a nick. The one plate has a bit of a cut near the rim, and a few of the plates have a bit of enamel missing where it looks like someone’s tried to do a bit of  a patch job. But it’s still a very attractive, and functional set. Perfect for generous portions of pasta, or some other hearty meal!

Pair of pyrex bowls

These bowls are interesting to say the least. But despite, or maybe because of their interesting print, I really like them! I love the bright orange and the way the, ahem, chicken and fish and other groceries, are outlined with that chunky edging. Subject matter aside, I think they’re actually a great design.

Small wooden table

This little wooden table has everything going for it – it’s got great legs, it’s well made and it has a very funky top made of  small linoleum tiles! Plus these tables are very handy next to a couch or chair. And it won’t take up much space. A perfect piece of furniture!
