This isn’t the best pic of this unusual enamel bowl (this winter light is really messing with my photos!). The bowl came from an old farmhouse, and I say it’s unusual because of it’s colour. I know that brown won’t be to everyones taste, but it is different from the norm (which is always nice) and somehow seems to add a certain authenticity to it as a working piece of enamleware (does that make sense to anyone other than me?). Another nice feature is that it’s quite deep. You could serve up a generous portion of pasta in this bowl. Comfort food for winter – perfect!
