This Teasmade by Goblin was designed to wake you up with fresh cuppa in the morning. My dad, who’s English, got very excited when he saw what I had bought because his mother used to have one in their home. They were designed to be kept next to your bed so you didn’t have to face the cold English mornings without a warm cup of tea in bed. To be honest, I’m not so sure how I feel about having a kettle in my bedroom (reminds me too much of a bedsit!), but I think that it would look great in the kitchen. Admittedly they’re more of a novelty item these days, but it would definitely be a cool thing to show off at your next tea party! Last selling point: the working light strip really does make people ooh and aah when you turn it on!
