Enamel Tiffin – SOLD

Enamel Tiffin

I think this tiffin may be missing one of it’s compartments (I think they normally have three containers), and it also doesn’t have a lock system that you normally see with tiffins, but at the same time it’s the prettiest version I’ve seen of these old-school lunch boxes. As with a  lot of enamelware the paint has worn in places, but that’s part of the charm of enamel – you want to see a bit of age.

Dimensions: 16cm high x 17cm wide

Price: R150

This is so pretty, pity it doesn’t have a closing/carrying mechanism. I imagine it would look pretty much like the enamel tiffin I found in this blog post”. If you find another one with the closure I’d be very interested in buying it.

Ha! Well spotted Nicola! I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what the locking mechanism would have looked like :)
P.S. Have you tried out your glass frying pan yet?
