Pair of German Ceramic Vases – SOLD

German Ceramic Vases

German Ceramic Vases

This pair of German vases are in mint condition, and would be a fantastic addition to somebodys collection. The person I bought them from seemed to think they could be from the ’60s, but the colour and texture of the glaze look to be more ’70s to me. I really like the fact that they are two matching pieces, something you don’t often see.

Dimensions: Large vase: 25.5cm high; Small vase: 15cm high

Price: R150 (for the pair)

Ceramic Leaf Vase

Ceramic Leaf Vase

This vase just shrieks kitsch! Glazed in pinks and greens, with a leaf-like structure, this vase is unusual to say the least (which is probably why I bought it). Definitely not everybody’s taste, but I know there’s someone out there who’s going to fall in love with this quirky piece.

Dimensions: 24.5cm high

Price: R95

I Heart Market

29 Sep

Mint is making it’s debut at Durban’s I Heart Market this Saturday. The market takes place at the DLI Hall in Greyville and is fulled with wonderful home-grown design and deliciously tempting food stuffs. Aside from my usual array of quirky kitchenalia, I’ll also be bringing a few larger pieces with me to the market such as this great coffee table featured below (I love the formica inlay – see pics under ‘more’). Please come and say hello to me if you’re in the area!

Glass Dessert Bowls – SOLD

Glass Dessert Serving Bowls

Glass Dessert Serving Bowls

These glass bowls would have originally been part of a dessert set (see the pic of a complete set under on my ‘Payment’ page), but they work just as well by themselves. I’m selling them as a pair because I think the colours work so nicely together! There is a small chip in the yellow bowl, but fortunately because of the colour and the scalloped edge it’s not really noticeable.

Dimensions: 20cm across x 8cm high

Price: R120 (for the pair)
